The celebrities were a plentiful and the red carpet was HOT at the 2012 Daytime Emmy Awards. Amongst the A-Lister’s was American actress Lisa Rinna, who brought out her inner Goddess on the carpet wearing a black lace cap sleeve gown by THEIA.
Wouldn’t it be amazing to live in a world where everything glistened? Theia was inspired from the powerful Greek Goddess –Theia, who ruled during the golden age. Theia saw the world in a way that every fashionista only dreams of – glitzed out. She was the source of sparkle for everything in the world.
Theia wasn’t the ONLY source of light at that time. Illumination ran in the family; Helios the sun, Celene the moon and Eos the dawn were all of Theia’s children. Together they brought light to the world and still continue to do so.
European brocades, silks and prints, embellished couture beading and embroideries all go into Theia’s designs. All pieces are hand-stitched to ensure a flattering fit for everyone, thus allowing their inner Goddess to shine through.
The man behind the brand is designer Don O’Neill, an Ireland born native who says he has his mother to thank for introducing him to fashion. She sparked his interest in the industry through her Bergdorf Goodman dresses and Ib Jorgensen suits. O’Neill knew from a very early age that he wanted to be a fashion designer.
THEIA launched in 2009 and was instantly picked up by major department stores such as Neiman Marcus, Saks Fifth Avenue and Bloomingdales. You may have even seen celebrity fan of the brand, Carrie Underwood, out in about sporting THEIA as well. For more on THEIA visit them online.
