#POSHGLAM x Fashion’s Night Out NYC 2011

The two things I learned tonight in SoHo were: 1) Fashion’s Night Out is amazing for stimulating the fashion business. 2) So many freeloaders.

Even though most of us just go for the free champagne and to mingle with fashions elite for one night, most of us have a job to do. Thus, freeloaders turn a 5 minute walk to a 25 minute shuffle from event to event, but most importantly, taping out all of the champagne. Anyway, POSHGLAM had a wonderful night kicking off New York Fashion Week and celebrating Vogue’s third annual Fashion’s Night Out.

First we stopped by Fresh NYC where we got the latest looks on skin care, perfumes, body care and make-up. The party consisted of light cocktails and lots of promotions. Fresh in SoHo was promoting their Sugar Passion Tinted Lip Treatment for the best lip nourishment. This goes to show that everywhere in SoHo is celebrating—You don’t have to be at Chanel to enjoy FNO.

I did get a chance to pass by Chanel, and as expected there was a line out the door and around the block—Maybe next year, Coco. Although, I did have a chance to stop by the 40th Anniversary Opening of Mulberry.

Amazing store. I spent most of my time here because it was a decently sized crowd with a 75% chic rate, and there was plenty of champagne—until there wasn’t.

The store was raffling off items (bags i’m assuming) to contestants who submitted their names into a drawing that was to be announced throughout the night. Mulberry also had huge golden balloons of their signature bag and latch. This was my favorite party of the night.

#FashionsNightOut Milkshakes and Manolos with Sarah Jessica Parker

Carrie Bradshaw—I mean, Sarah Jessica Parker is [finally] collaborating with shoe god, Manolo Blahnik. The two have teamed up to unveil a special shoe on New York’s Fashions Night Out on September 8th.

Pictured above, SJP is wearing L’AGENCE’s Knee Length Coat in Dirty Rose from the Fall / Winter 2011 collection.

Milkshakes and Manolos with SJP and the Manolo team will take place on September 8th from 6:00pm to 11:00pm at the West 54th Street Manolo Blahnik Boutique. They will toast this expected but late shoe collaboration with Manolo’s much loved treat—milkshakes. A portion of the proceeds will go to The Fund for Public Schools.

Come visit the truck for chic Milkshake treats which a portion of proceeds go to a great cause:
