Jessica Alba’s style is fun with an on-trend twist, her latest summer staple: Dolce & Gabbana’s Miss Sicily Handbag, is a peachy pink bag that can be worn both as cross body or by top handle. Our favorite haute mama was seen sporting the bag while out and about this Summer. On the go with her daughter Haven, she made her rounds and shows us how to implement the bag into our everyday gear.
Jessica has paired the bag with a number of trekking outfits—which work well with the vibrant color of the bag. It’s intricate gold details and structured design help the Dolce & Gabbana Miss Sicily handbag dress up any ensemble from jeans to a more sleek and sophisticated look.
Jessica along with other notables have been spotted with this piece—the Miss Sicily handbag is a hands down favorite and has quickly become Dolce & Gabbana’s “it” bag, of the season. The bag embodies functionalism and can be purchased for $1,675 at Dolce & Gabbana boutiques nationwide, how’s that for utilitarian?

The mornings were blazing hot, the nights were shivering cold, but the celeb style at Coachella was just plain cool. With the lingering nostalgia of the spring music festival still in the air, POSHGLAM brings you a recap of the Coachella celebrity style radar. Most of these stars nailed the Coachella look, while others failed it.
Victoria’s Secret angel Alessandra Ambrosio looked casually gorgeous wearing a creme Rebecca Taylor sundress with brown boots. She accessorized with her arm candy, Jamie Mazur and cooled off with O.N.E. Coconut Water.
Katy Perry looked like an elephant hippie princess (remember Barbar?) in her ankle-length Dolce & Gabbana lace sundress with polka dot headdress tied in a bow. She matched the look with a yellow crossbody hobo and gold gladiator sandals. Such a flawless look.
The queen of boho-chic, Nicole Richie, attended the Mulberry party at Coachella wearing Mulberry Annie Blouse in Pumpkin Feathered Friends with denim shorts and the Heritage Bayswater Satchel in Pheasant Green.
Kirsten Dunst attended the Lacoste L!ve Pool Party on the last day of Coachella wearing Ray Ban sunglasses, a casual black blouse and denim shorts. As usual, Dunst looked plain, but we love her Ralph Lauren Collection calfskin crossbody bag in tan. She posed with Alexander Skarsgard, who attended the festival with his girlfriend Kate Bosworth. Dunst’s bag is a perfect catch all for all the music festival essentials, and is compact enough as to not get in the way.
Jessica Szohr looked not-so-gorgeous in an Express cropped jumpsuit, black hat and oversized MJ black handbag. OK, so the picture was snapped at an awful angle and she was the unsuspecting victim of the photographer, but she wore way too much black for a spring music festival. The jumpsuit is a nice jumpsuit, but Szohr should have added some color and prints to the mix. A colorful purse (Circa 2011) and hair accessory (i.e. pony tail holder) would have done the trick. A smaller bag would have lightened the look, she looks like she is trudging her carry-on through the airport. Is she missing a fingernail? One of her nails is white, while the rest are ruby red. Let’s try it again next year, Jessica.
Apparently Whit Port and Ken broke up, she typically looks adorable, however her Coachella getup, screams “IT’s OVER”. Whitney is usually classy, with “usually” and “classy” competing for the operative word. She wore a pair of Express floral shorts with a white top and oversized grey shirt tied on the side TOTALLY 80s style, all she needed was a neon scrunchie. She could have done without the grey shirt and uh, I just broke up with my beau attitude. It was a little too 90s and sloppy, it hung off her body, like she was courting anorexia and she paired it with olive boots. Expensive sandals would have added a high-class flirt to the otherwise uber feminine touch, or a pair of nude oxfords to upgrade the oh so cheap, chic.
This is only the start of music festival season, so hopefully those that were falling behind step up their game. Next stop: Bonnaroo.

The fashion crazy continues-Creative directors, Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana may stand trial for criminal charges. The design duo, who have been under investigation since 2008 for tax fraud, and were indicted in November for failing to pay taxes on more than $1 billion in income, are now being accused of fraud. According to The New York Times, “papers filed by prosecutors in a Milan court allege a “criminal design” to defraud the state.” Apparently, Dolce and Gabbana took serious measures to defraud the tax system purposely rather than by mistake. The Times also notes that tax evasion in Italy is rampant and “regarded by many people, including some in the fashion world, as a national sport.”
The New York Times reports:
Milan court allege a “criminal design” to defraud the state. Prosecutors contend that the Italian revenue service was duped out of taxes on the sale of the brands, which they claim were sold well below market value, and on the income from royalties, which were taxed in Luxembourg at a much lower rate than they would have been in Italy. The brands were sold for €360 million, or $508 million — an amount that investigators say was just under a third of their actual value, according to their own calculations.
The designers along with three company executives and their tax advisor have been accused of setting up a fake company in Luxembourg to dodge taxes, where they did not declare the income made from that company. Authorities are set to determine this Friday if a criminal trial will take place. Both designers could face up to 5 to 7 years in prison. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana recently presented Dolce & Gabbana’s Fall 2011 Collection as well as their lower-priced line, D&G.
Stefano’s twitter has been abuzz with little hints and clips from last night’s festivities at the Garage Centre of Contemporary Art and Italian Embassy in Moscow and we’ve got an exclusive clip or two of Stefano and Domenico enjoying their evening. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana enjoyed a dinner at the historic Italian Embassy with the stunningly beautiful guest of honor Monica Bellucci, face of the Martini Gold by Dolce & Gabbana, before moving to the club for a musical treat at the Dance Art Garage featuring a performance from Pharrell Williams. While canoodling with Monica and partying with Pharrell, Stefano and Domenico created an atmosphere that reinvented party going in an after party that focused on celebrating and making use of the creativity of its guests.
The Italian Embassy, Villa Berg was decorated in amber and gold hues to mimic the sixties Italian Luchino Visconti film “The Leopard”. The events celebrated the auspicious occasion of the Year of Russian Culture and Language in Italy and Year of Italian Culture and Language in Russia, bridging the two countries together and creating the perfect opportunity to expose Russia to the partnership between Martini Gold and Dolce & Gabbana. Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana basked in the two parted evening of the majesty of Italian culture and a new age of real-time-art performance.
The garage room spun with light strobes and screen projections in an artistic mix of modern technology that employed digital techniques of light and sound. The event introduced an exhibition style of art and music through people, where each attendee was expected to participate in the creation of art. Taking it a step further, T-Shirts designed by Domenico Dolce and Stefano Gabbana exclusively for the event were distributed to and customized individually by each guest. Stefano also posted exclusive video streams of the event’s activities including the performance by Pharell and a sample of the talents of DJ Sinatra on his Tumblr.
One of the biggest shocks in magazine masthead shakeup, came courtesy of Caroline Roitfeld when she announced a couple of months ago that she would be resigning as the Editor-in-Chief of French Vogue , a prestigious position she more than held onto for the past 10 years. While the French Anna Wintour told the New York Times “”It’s 10 years that I’m editor of the magazine, I think it’s time to do something different. When everything is good, maybe I think it’s the time to do something else,” her too-safe-to-be-true exit strategy sounded more like than an excuse than the actual truth.
As rumors began to circulate that Roitfeld was indeed fired from French Vogue for the magazine’s proverbial lack of diversity (same photographers, same models, same brands …), and more importantly-for being responsible for LVMH, Balenciaga, and other labels’ ad withdrawal from the magazine, Vogue Paris announced that Emanuelle Alt, a stylist known for her work with Balmain and Isabel Marant, would be taking over the reigns as Editor-in-Chief.
And now that Alt has taken over the reigns, the time to prove herself worthy of a French Vogue cover has finally arrived. For the April 2011, French Vogue cover, Alt chose the stunning super-model and super-mama, Gisele Bundchen, who was shot by Inez and Vinoodh, as the magazine’s cover-girl. The glowing and warm cover features Gisele in a white Dolce & Gabbana dress. While Gisele has graced more than a few Vogue covers in her lifetime, she is making history once again for being the first one under the Emanuelle Alt-era.
While the cover is less edgy than what is usual for French Vogue, Gisele’s au-natural beauty is the perfect way to hail the upcoming warmer months. The lighter tone of the magazines also goes along with Alt’s style, as she is known for never wearing makeup and prefering natural beauty.
